I contacted her knowing she was looking for amateur photographers to do a shoot for her, and asked her if I could be the amateur to do it. Low and behold we set up a date to do the shoot on, and I had the honor and pleasure of doing a 3-hour shoot around the areas of Berkeley and Emeryville.
